Hi and welcome !

All of my careers – as a psychotherapist, journalist and oral historian, have involved helping people tell their stories.  Everyone has a story.  And their stories fascinate me.  I’ve been privileged to interview such people as Frank Perkins, a homeless man living in the park and finding his meals in the trash behind the local grocery store; Tsugio Imamoto, a farmer whose carrots are fought over at the local farmer’s market; Eddie Hayes, a street ventriloquist, Helen Moss, who survived the Holocaust in Auschwitz, and Marcia Goodfriend, dealing with life changes brought on by dementia.  My stories are about travel adventures, relationships, hobbies, medical challenges, and my own family.

All articles are owned by me, and available for reprint rights.

I am also a photographer, and my work can be seen here:  https://www.flickr.com/photos/elliekahn/
